Throughout the month of February, we are donating 15% of all sales to To Write Love on Her Arms.
To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.
After founder Angelica Caporuscio, CEO of Veíse Beauty battled a crippling and life threatening depression, she realized the effect mental health can have on our relationships, self worth, and day to day life. As a way to say thank you to the organizations pushing the envelope with what it means to speak out about your own personal mental health, she created the Princess in Destress Series, as well as choosing to donate 15% of all sales each month to a different mental health organization.
Depression and anxiety, unfortunately doesn’t take sides. It doesn’t choose who will suffer and battle. It is universal. And spreading the message that it is ok to not be ok is something Angelica battled in her quest to become better. Through a series of self help treatments and a Docuseries on YouTube called You.Are.Loved. She was finally able to find that spark of hope again.
It is not an easy battle, but we are proud of the work TWLOHA is doing to help support those who are sharing their story. To share your story and be vulnerable is not only brave and courageous, but admirable, and helps so many people to come back to a good place in their mind in order to overcome their battles and struggles. Too many people are afraid to fight for a cause and we fully support those who do.
